Submit ManuscriptThe Harvard Business Law Review (HBLR) stands at the intersection of law and business, and is committed to publishing research and commentary on a wide range of developments in business and commercial law. HBLR welcomes submissions from all members of the business law community, including students, academics, practitioners, regulators, and lawmakers.
How to Submit
Please submit your manuscript in Microsoft Word format.
Length
HBLR Print: Preferance for articles between 15,000 and 25,000 words in length–the equivalent of up to 50 law review pages–including text and footnotes.
HBLR Online: Preferance for articles between 2,500 and 7,500 words in length, including text and footnotes.
Citation Format
Manuscript citations must conform to the most recent edition of The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation.
Review Process
HBLR carefully reviews all submissions that it receives and notifies authors of decisions via email. If you would like to request an expedited review of your article, please indicate this desire upon submission. We appreciate your interest in publishing with us and look forward to your submissions.
